Here comes our review of TruZMA by PEScience. It’s a testosterone-boosting and sleep-aid formulation that claims a whole host of benefits, some of them being;
- Boosts low testosterone
- Improves sleep
- Enhances your workouts
While we can see how it can improve sleep, there’s very little evidence behind its effects on testosterone.
After delving deep and researching the product’s ingredients, dosage, and side effects, we’ve come to the ultimate conclusion about TruZMA by PEScience and its effects on the male hormone.
Keep on reading to see what we’ve found.
Pros and Cons of TruZMA by PEScience
- A good mineral formula for sleep improvement
- Simple to take, pop 4 pills all at once and you’re done for the day
- Not enough ingredients to make a difference in testosterone levels
- Missing more daily servings – 1 per day isn’t enough to keep your testosterone raised
- Contains Shilajit which has been banned in some countries due to contamination
TruZMA will give you pretty much the same effects as any other ZMA product out there. It will improve your sleep quality, and perhaps make you less tense during the day thanks to magnesium that’s in the product.
It will also improve your muscle functioning. So you might see some improvements in your gym workouts. But that’s about as far as it goes for TruZMA by PEScience.
While it contains Shilajit which is touted to boost low-testosterone, it won’t really help you much in that’s regards. That’s because Shilajit has no evidence behind it to prove its claimed benefits.
Dosage | How To Use
TruZMA by PEScience comes with a daily dose of 4 capsules. This is great, until you realize you should take all of the capsules at once. And that, my friend, is not so great.
Let me explain why…
The optimal number of daily servings for a T-booster is between 3-4. This is because you want to keep your body constantly fueled with the right ingredients, throughout the day and night.
With only 1 serving, you’ll get a spike in these ingredients which will only last for a short amount of time. So what can you expect from just one daily serving? The answer is; not much, really.
So is PEScience TruZMA worth it?
Okay, now you might be thinking; “If only 1 serving per day isn’t going to boost my testosterone, this means TruZMA must be ineffective, right?”
Well, no. In fact, TruZMA is effective, but its effect might not be what you’re looking for.
It will improve your sleep, that’s for sure. After all, that’s what ZMA supplements are primarily made for – to enhance your sleep quality, which can indirectly improve your hormone levels.
But if your goal is to directly boost your testosterone, TruZMA won’t have that much of an impact in that regards.
Nothing miraculous hiding in TruZMA on the first glance, we have to say! It’s a standard ZMA formula, with added Shilajit Extract as a bonus ingredient.
However, we’re not sure how happy you’ll be when you find out that this ingredient has been banned in some countries, in addition to being ineffective at raising testosterone levels.

Vitamin B6 doesn’t help your testosterone directly, but it can have an impact if you’re deficient in this vitamin.
Here’s how: it stimulates your androgen production, this is your precursor to testosterone.
So if you’re lacking vitamin B6, supplementing it can help you bring your T-levels back to your baseline – but not above that.
This one is a no-brainer. It’s found in every ZMA product, and that’s because it’s great for sleep and muscle relaxation.
It plays a key role in many functions in your body, and can even lead to increased testosterone production in men.
Zinc is another key mineral for your hormone and enzyme regulation in the body. If you’re lacking this mineral, be prepared for some bad news; your testosterone might be low.
But worry not, if you supplement with the right amount of zinc, you can sleep well (literally) knowing that your t-levels aren’t in danger!
However, this isn’t a miracle ingredient – on its own, it won’t affect your testosterone enough for you to notice any tangible benefits. But when combined with other powerful T-boosting ingredients, such as D-AA, Vitamin D3, and others, it can really make a difference.
That’s why we were sad to see TruZMA containing only zinc, magnesium, B6 and Shilajit. Some of these are good ingredients, but not potent enough to give you that difference in testosterone that you’re looking for.
Shilajit Extract (Primavie)
Although Shilajit has long been thought to possess some great T-boosting benefits, recent studies show this isn’t the case.
Not only that, but Shilajit is banned in some countries, including Canada, due to various reasons – one of them being contamination.
So we’re not exactly sure how safe it is to include ingredients like Shilajit in a testosterone booster. But one thing is certain; it’s not really your best bet if you’re looking for safe and effective results.
What Others Say
“I didn’t feel it helped me sleep as well as another brand that has theanine in it. Didn’t feel as if it did what I intended. Went back to my old supplement.”– Brick Diesel (Amazon Customer)
“It’s just OK. Nothing special.” – SilverFox (Amazon Customer)
“Excellent recovery time! I definitely noticed I was less sore in the morning. Pills smelled a little strange though, otherwise, I loved it and will be buying again!” – Coleman (Amazon Customer)
You shouldn’t experience any negative side effects from taking TruZMA. Most ZMA formulations are pretty safe, as long as the dosage of zinc is within the normal range.
PEScience TruZMA contains 30mg, which is on the border of an aggressive dose. This can be too much for some people, and can cause side effects such as;
- Stomach Pains
Conclusion to PEScience TruZMA
Here’s how we see TruZMA by PEScience; it’s your typical ZMA product, with an added Shilajit Extract in it.
If you already have experience with ZMA formulations, then don’t expect miracles from this one. It’s certainly a solid product, which will help your sleep and muscle functioning.
But if you’re looking for more than that, such as boosting testosterone, then you’re looking the wrong way, friend!
