NOW Tribulus 1000 is a 1-man army testosterone booster. In other words, it only has one ingredient which is supposed to boost your male hormone.
Will this product be able to do that? And most importantly, is it free from side effects?
We’ll know the answers when we look at the product’s ingredients.
Ready? Let’s take a look.
Pros and Cons of NOW Tribulus 1000
- Could slightly boost libido
- Doesn’t raise testosterone levels
- Only 1 ingredient
- Only 1 daily serving
- Tribulus Terrestris is notorious for the prostate enlargement side effect
NOW Tribulus 1000 is intended mainly for older gentlemen. The product helps you boost your libido and sex drive, with a secondary function as a testosterone booster.
We’re not so sure about these claims though – we’ll investigate them by checking the ingredients.
Dosage | How To Use
1 tablet with a meal daily. That’s how you take Tribulus 1000 by NOW. The tables are rather large, and speaking from personal experience, pretty hard to swallow. Some users complain about this problem as well, so it’s good to know I’m not the only one.
But that’s not the biggest issue with the dosage of NOW Tribulus 1000. The one thing we can’t overlook here, is how the dosage is spread out with this supplement. Once per day simply won’t cut it; at least not when it comes to raising testosterone.
In order for your testosterone to stay raised, you need to provide your body with a constant influx of nutrients. You can ensure this by taking 3-4 servings spread out during the day.
With NOW Tribulus 1000, you only have 1 serving, so there’s only so much you can get out of this product.
The only ingredient in NOW Tribulus 1000 is Tribulus Terrestris. Wasn’t hard to guess, was it?
Well, there are so many issues with this product, that I don’t know where to start.
Let’s start with the first and most obvious thing – the number of ingredients. If you’re looking to boost your testosterone, you need a combination of at least 3-4 great ingredients that work together. A good example of this would be a Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid, Zinc, and Fenugreek Extract combination. In the right doses, these ingredients will ensure your testosterone stays up.
Since it only has 1 ingredient, NOW Tribulus 1000 can’t vouch for the same effects. But believe it or not, that’s not the worst thing about this product.
The most concerning problem with NOW Tribulus 1000 is that it’s not only ineffective, but also outright dangerous for prostate health. See, scientific studies show that Tribulus can only offer you slight libido boost at best. However, it does so at the cost of some nasty negative side effects.
The biggest side effect of Tribulus is that it appears to enlarge your prostate. So if you’re afraid of going to the doctors, let me tell you the bad news – if you consume Tribulus Terrestris on a regular basis, you’ll likely end up there.
What Others Say
As expected, very few users are actually happy with NOW Tribulus 1000. Here’s what they had to say;
“After about three weeks of taking this supplement, I have not felt any positive effect. More importantly, the pills are really big and very difficult to swallow. Too big for me. I have been choking on them three times now. One time it was really bad. Cutting the pills might help but make sure there are no sharp edges. I’ll stop to take these pills now.” – Pacifica (Amazon Customer)
“Followed the directions and waited until I finished the bottle to write a review. I’m sorry to say that this product is a dud. It did absolutely nothing for me. I was hopeful but in the end, I was disappointed. You take a chance every time you buy products like these so I was fully aware of the chance I was taking when I purchased these.” – Maxamillion (Amazon Customer)
“I’ve used other Tribulus products, and had great results. I didn’t get anything from this one. The difference between the NOW brand and the other brands, is that the others were in capsule form, and the NOW brand comes in tablet form. I’ve had other Now brand products that I’m extremely pleased with, but those products were capsule form. So, I would recommend buying your Tribulus and other supplements in capsule form, they seem to catalyze much better, with a much greater absorption rate.” – Arminius (Amazon Customer)
There’s only one danger with NOW Tribulus 1000, and it’s aggravated prostate.
Unless you’re certain you can tolerate Tribulus Terrestris really well, which many men can’t, think twice before ingesting this ingredient.
Conclusion to NOW Tribulus 1000
NOW Tribulus 1000 is one of those products that’s not based on the research. If it was, it would include safe and effective ingredients – many of them.
With only 1 ingredient, and a potentially dangerous one at that, it doesn’t come even close to the best testosterone boosters out there.
So if your goal is to boost your testosterone and keep your prostate healthy along the way, NOW Tribulus 1000 is a product you’ll want to avoid.
