Here we have the pros and cons of Testosterone Up by Irwin Naturals. It contains a handful of positive ingredients that are linked to stimulating testosterone production, but just as many that have no use whatsoever when it comes to increasing the powerful hormone testosterone.

- Contains Asian Ginseng which has been used for centuries to help boost sex drive
- Contains Tribulus which could aggravate the prostate

Dosage | How To Use
As there is no actual dosage advice given by the makers of testosterone Up, Irwin Naturals (slightly suspicious), we can only assume the dosage is once a day taking 3 capsules per time.
However, some customers report side effects such as a racing heart and anxiety after taking 3 capsules in one go. It’s suggested to spread out the dosage throughout the day to test your tolerance.
Testosterone Up Ingredients
As you can see from the list of ingredients, testosterone Up contains very few ingredients that will boost your testosterone.

On the other hand, Irwin Naturals Testosterone Up contains a high dose of zinc – 30mg. While this is a tolerable dose for most people, some might experience nausea, cramps, vomitting, and severe stomach discomfort for hours. The optimal dosage for supplementing zinc is around 20mg daily.
It’s not all bad though!
If you are someone who’s concerned about your overall health, then good news. There’s been positive reports linked to nettle, and pumpkin seed oils for helping the blood flow. Copper – This mineral has been shown to slow down bone loss, and improve the treatment of Alzheimer’s patients. However, it shows no signs of improving testosterone levels, making it useless as a T-boosting ingredient.

MCT – Medium-chain triglycerides are a class of saturated fat composed of fatty acids containing 6-10 carbons. They are found primarily in coconut oil, palm kernel oil, and dairy fat, and they appear to benefit fat loss to a minor extent when consumed in place of other dietary fat. 
Pumpkin Seed – This healthy seed can help treat numerous illnesses, as it contains powerful fatty acids, which are vital for good health and vitality. However, there has been no direct link to the use of pumpkin seeds and increasing testosterone levels. 
Nettle – Stinging Nettle is not only a plant that causes stings and skin irritation, it’s also used for oral consumption. Even though it has been used to treat illnesses such as the common cold, it’s not your most potent T-enhancer. But it can help to reduce prostate size and swelling. 
Plant Sterols – Plant sterols will lower LDL Cholesterol, but they will not increase testosterone. Perhaps it will have the opposite effect, as even a little bit of cholesterol is vital for increasing testosterone levels. 
Tribulus – This adaptogen has been used widely around the world for centuries to treat men with low libido. While it does work, it’s advised to be very careful with the length of time you supplement with tribulus, as it could cause the enlargement of your prostate.
Ginseng – Asian ginseng will lift you up mentally, and physically. It will also help to raise your testosterone levels. It’s a no brainier when considering the use of ginseng, we highly recommend it. 
LJ100 – Longkag Ali may reduce the amount of estrogen flowing through your body, which could be good if you are a man that deals with large amounts of stress. But as a testosterone booster, there have been no studies to show it’s beneficial in this department. 
Chrysin – This is a compound that is originally found in propolis (extracted from bee hives). It can increase testosterone levels, but only when injected directly into the testicles, otherwise it’s difficult to absorb into the body.
Gamma – Gamma will lower your cholesterol, but it will not boost your testosterone levels.

While there haven’t been any serious side effects associated with testosterone Up, a word of caution should go in the direction of Tribulus – this ingredient could cause prostate issues in the future.
Unless you want a visit to your doctors where they examine your prostate, then be careful with the use of Tribulus.

This is not only detrimental to testosterone production, but can also cause other negative side effects. You need optimal cholesterol levels in order for your body to function as it should.

Testosterone Up is a confusing supplement. It contains ingredients that have been linked to increasing testosterone production such as ginseng, and zinc, but then on the other hand, it has ingredients that could possibly reduce testosterone levels. Such as Gamma, which reduces cholesterol.
Without enough cholesterol in our bodies, it will be impossible for testosterone levels to increase past their current amount. This is why it makes no sense as to why testosterone Up contains an ingredient that promotes the reduction of cholesterol.
It also contains Tribulus, which is notorious for causing prostate enlargement in some men. It now makes sense when we see people typing “Irwin Naturals Testosterone Up side effects.”
Overall, it’s an okay supplement for general health and energy, and possibly a small spike in sex drive via Tribulus, but will it improve the amount of free flowing testosterone you have over a long period? We think not!
